This outstanding speech has enlightened the opening of the 4th Cartoon Connection Canada, which brings together over 150 professionals in a warm atmosphere despite the first signs of winter in Quebec.
Five major European broadcasters explained what their animation policy is and the type of projects they are looking for: CANAL+, CBBC, France Télévisions, RAI and SuperRTL, who announced that they won’t be broadcasting Disney catalogue anymore.
Dinners in a cruise boat on the Saint-Laurent river or in a beautiful church-converted museumor and over 1000 one-to-one meetings will reinforce partnerships between Canada and Europe. A first contract between game company Frima and French-Belgian producer Dupuis will be signed in Quebec.
